Around 3:15, The Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad, along with Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department, Bay District Volunteer Fire Department, Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad, Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and St. Mary's County ALS were dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Accident involving a motorcycle. Ambulance 798 responded shortly after dispatch with 4 personnel. While we were responding, an off-duty EMT was on the scene and requested a Helicopter. Upon arrival, crews prepared the operator of the motorcycle for transport and stabilized the injuries. Trooper 7 landed on the scene and the patient care was transferred to the Paramedics on Trooper 7. The patient was then flown to a local trauma center.
