Cub Scout Pack 420 Visits the Squad!
Author: Lieutenant Kimberly Sullivan,
Date: November 02, 2009
On Monday, November 2nd, 2009 we were visited by Cub Scout Pack #420. These young men were eager to learn and hear all about becoming Emergency Providers. Squad members Barbara Wible, Charlie Russell, Kelley Rhodes and Kimberly Sullivan were on hand to discuss "how" and "who" to call in case on an emergency. The scouts also learned about Hypothermia and were given the opportunity to "provide care" to one of their fellow pack members in the event of a hypothermic emergency. The scouts were also given the opportunity to tour one of the ambulances as well as try the turnout gear on. It was a fun evening, and we hope that they will come back and visit again!
